The 4-star, 50-room sports hotel, Hotel Szent Gellért Fórum, is being built next to the Szeged sports complex. As part of the large-scale hotel investment, RAVATHERM XPS was also used.
The newly built, four-star facility is connected to the Szeged Youth Center and will be built on the site of the former Napfény campsite at Dorozsmai út 2-4. The investment, on behalf of the Diocese of Szeged-Csanád, will be realized at a net value of more than 3 billion 264 million Forints. The sports complex named Szent Gellert Forum, which includes a UEFA category 4 stadium, an event center, an open-air stage and sports fields, located next to the future hotel, was also realized with the help of Market. The center, handed over in 2019, serves the events of 4,000 children in state care and 11,000 students.
The 4-star hotel, which also meets LEED Silver certification, will be created on a total floor area of 5,937.15 square meters. The RAVATHERM XPS 300 SL built into the flat roof contributes to the outstanding energy classification, which was placed in a layer order with a thickness of 20 and 22 cm, thus ensuring the proper thermal insulation of the building.
The building will have a ground floor plus two upper levels on a floor area of 3,834 square meters, which will also include a green area of 2,526 square meters. Internal roads and parking lots are also established during landscaping and garden construction tasks.
-on the ground floor there will be a reception, community spaces, lobby, conference room, a 350-400 serving kitchen and restaurant, wellness service functions, a terrace, and a chapel, -on the two floors, 22 standard rooms and one apartment each, as well as barrier-free and family hotel rooms, as well as walkways and terraces, will be created on each level, – the various mechanical rooms and the roof garden will be located in the attic.
