Richter Gedeon Ltd. is enriched with a new headquarters. The building will be constructed in the area next to the Chemical Research and Office Building (KKI), handed over in 2007, in the X. district of the capital. The main supporting structure was executed by EB HUNGARY INVEST Ltd. performs. All that remains until the handover of the modern and forward-looking building is the landscaping.
One of the most important pharmaceutical companies in East-Central Europe, Richter Gedeon Ltd. its new central office building, under construction, is both innovative, aesthetic and environmentally conscious, while at the same time its unique architectural character is characterized by restraint and sobriety.
The project implemented by EBH INVEST contains many interesting technical features, which require a very high level of technical knowledge.
These include the installation of huge glass panels. During construction, a total of nearly 50 pieces of 1-story high and 17 pieces of at least 2-story high glass blades were placed.
For the installation of large-sized glass blades, a gridded steel clamping bracket was manufactured specifically for this purpose, which was removed from the glass blade after positioning and fixing.
During the construction of the structure, the waterproof lining walls, the reinforced concrete walls at the basement level, the pillars and the slab above the basement were completed. Then the reinforced concrete walls were completed, and the prefabricated reinforced concrete pillars made by the spinning process were placed. The tallest of these is more than 15 meters high. The monolithic pillars and slabs, as well as the closing slab of the conference hall, were concreted.
During the insulation work, the RAVATHERM XPS thermal insulation was installed, which was placed on the flat roof of the building with an inverted layer order, with a thickness of 22 cm. More than 1000 m3 of RAVATHERM XPS 300 SL extruded polystyrene foam thermal insulation was installed in order to achieve the appropriate energy level of the building.
Completion of utility works, construction of green roofs, landscaping and paving still remain before the project is completed.
