Ravago Building Solutions Hungary after the recent start-up of its stone wool factory already boasts a number of large-scale references. One of these projects is the newest hall building of the VGP industrial park in Győr.
Built near the existing VGP Park Győr, VGP Park Győr Béta is VGP’s second park in Győr. The park is located in the industrial area of Győr, approximately 4 km from the M1 highway, which connects Budapest and the neighboring capitals of Vienna and Bratislava. Győr is the industrial, economic, business, educational and cultural center of the northwestern region of Hungary, one of the most innovative and dynamically developing cities in the country.
The park consists of two buildings and has a total leasable area of 46,000 m2. The facility offers adequate space for logistics, light industrial manufacturing and commercial activities. The buildings will have the Very Good rating of the BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) system, which proves that an approach to environmental sustainability is applied during the construction works, and at the same time, the potential productivity, as well as the comfort and well-being of the building users, is improved.
For the flat roof of the hall with an area of nearly 40,000 m2, RAVATHERM SW stone wool was chosen for thermal insulation, which was installed in various compressive strengths (50 kPa for the lower layers and 70 kPa for the upper layer), in a thickness of 3 x 8 cm. The essential slope formation of the lightweight roof was also created by installing RAVATHERM stone wool elements cut into the slope.
