The construction concept was developed by Property Market with the Danish design office ADEPT, on the basis of which, during the ten-year investment, approximately 15 residential and 13 office buildings, as well as an approx. A hotel with 180 rooms can be developed. In this way, it is expected that nearly 3,000 apartments, 250,000 square meters of office space, and roughly 15,000 square meters of commercial space will be created in the city district, where around 25-30,000 city residents can live and work in the near future.
BudaPart, which is being built next to the Kopaszi dam, is not only a residential and office building development, as shops are being established on the street level of the buildings, so the available services and recreational opportunities are constantly expanding. Restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, kindergartens, and doctors’ offices will be built in the South Buda district, and sports fields, a dog run, playgrounds, and other sports facilities are also being built.
The BudaPart project has reached a significant milestone. In September, the investor handed over the first apartment building in the city district, called BudaPart Otthonok ‘A’, and in October the apartments of the project’s second, bay-side BudaPart Otthonok ‘C’ building, in which RAVATHERM XPS 300 SL thermal insulation was installed in the inverted flat roof. Among the advantages of closed-cell polystyrene foam is that it has high compressive-strength and negligible moisture absorption, and is also easy to install and environmentally friendly.
162 homes were completed in the first, 8-story residential building, and 106 in the second, 15-story building. The investment is ongoing, so in 2020, two additional residential buildings will be built. As part of the project, the BudaPart Homes ‘E’ residential building began in 2019, in which RAVATHERM XPS 300 SL will also be installed with a thickness of 22 cm, which contributes to the creation of forward-looking, energy-efficient homes.
