Visitors to the Ravago Building Solutions UK stand at Futurebuild 2024 discovered that Europe’s largest manufacturer of XPS insulation was claiming that people are the secret to its success. Alongside information about the company’s range of high-performance insulation, including the next-generation Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL product line of inverted roof insulation, there were photos of some of the people behind the brand, who together have more than 100 years of experience working in insulation.

Natalie Sutton is one of the six members of the Ravago Building Solutions commercial team, becoming a permanent fixture at the company after completing her apprenticeship in the 1990s. Over the years she has continually expanded her knowledge of XPS insulation and the construction industry, as Ravago drove innovation in insulation technology, including the introduction of next-generation sustainable blowing agents that underpin the high-performance Ravatherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL product line.
Recently Natalie worked in partnership with Michael Kyriacou at Galaxy Insulation to produce a special thickness of board to meet customer requirements. Together they collated all of the necessary technical data for a special production run, and Natalie then worked with the production planners and the plant manager at Ravago’s Kings Lynn manufacturing facility to ensure that the boards would be ready for delivery to the project site in time. Her colleagues in the customer service team also proved invaluable, ensuring the correct type of vehicle was used.

Ravago continues to demonstrate that it places a premium on proven expertise. New Technical Sales Manager Chris Roughneen joined the business in February 2024 after accumulating almost 20 years of experience working in insulation and distribution for several different companies. Chris will be providing technical support and guidance to customers, helping them to identify how Ravago’s range of high-performance insulation can be used in solutions to meet the most demanding of design specifications.
