The 20 mm RAVATHERM XPS 250 PB board is factory-roughened, multi-purpose product. However, as a result of its thermal conductivity properties it is an excellent thermal insulation material, we do not recommend it for thermal insulation use in one layer, due to its thickness. It is easy to handle, can be used for modelling, space-filling and other various construction applications.

The blue-colour RAVATHERM™ XPS extruded polystyrene foam thermal insulation can be used in a wide range of applications thanks to the following beneficial properties as a result of the closed-cell material structure:

The surface of the RAVATHERM XPS 250 PB thermal insulation is factory roughened, which results a high strength adherence when fixed to monolithic concrete or reinforced concrete structures using plastering and adhesive mortars or solvent-free adhesives.
