The environmental policy of Ravago Building Solutions is aimed at fully enforcing environmental and energy aspects in the course of production. To this end, the XENERGY™ XPS heat insulation manufacturing process of Ravago Building Solutions is completely governed by the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) introduced in 2014 and applied successfully since then. The application of this standard has been extended to all kinds of activity of the company, including the regulation of the environmental impacts of products and services.
Besides direct environmental protection, energy saving in the production is also important; that means contribution to the global reduction of carbon dioxide emissions not only by the use of materials sold. The energy policy of the company includes the improvement of processes whereby the rates of energy used in the production and the application of energy intensive technologies can gradually be decreased.
The overall goal is the efficient disposal of the wastes produced in the most environmental friendly way possible, and the search for opportunities of recycling. In the course of its activities, Ravago Building Solutions strives for using environmental friendly resources and equipment. The company management continuously controls compliance with regulations in order to optimize the utilization of resources through this. ISO 14001 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The ISO 14001 standard lays down the fundamental rules for a company to develop its operations by efficient and environmental-oriented approach. The standard determines the related means being cost efficient, system based and flexible at the same time but still reflect the best organizational practices communicating all relevant environmental information to collect and integrate.
