Ravago reveals exclusive new research on architects’ attitudes towards CCPI

To coincide with the start of Futurebuild 2026, Ravago Building Solutions, the UK’s original manufacturer of extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation, has released new independent research exploring UK architects’ opinions about the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) assessment. The findings from an independent survey of 100 UK architects show CCPI is helping rebuild trust in construction product manufacturers and how it is already influencing specification decisions.

  • 100% of architects surveyed said they would support mandatory CCPI assessment across manufacturers’ full product ranges.
  • 99% said they would be more likely to specify a product from a manufacturer that is CCPI assessed.
  • 97% believe misleading or ambiguous product information remains a problem within the construction industry.
