MASTEREMACO S 1160 TIX

MasterEmaco S 1160 TIX is a structural thixotropic mortar for repairing and smoothing concrete in thicknesses from 5 to 50 mm and is of high yield and durability.

The innovative PWS technology creates a sort of slow-release “internal water tank” that allows better maturation, drastically reducing the tendency to crack and allowing application even on particularly absorbent substrates.

Thanks to the new formulation, MasterEmaco S 1160 TIX offers a protective barrier for the reinforcements, thus ensuring high durability of the repair even in the absence of passivating agent (provided that the reinforcement has a covering thickness of MasterEmaco S 1160 TIX mortar at least equal to 10 mm). 

MasterEmaco S 1160 TIX has been designed to ensure maximum effectiveness and durability in the various typical building restoration interventions such as thickening and extensive repairs that are carried out with a trowel or spray applications for thicknesses ranging from 5 to 50 mm.
