Direct fees / price list for ship waste collection services
If the ship sailing to the Port facility in Lavrion wishes to deliver waste in a quantity beyond the provided limits, that are defined in the indirect fee, then a direct fee will be applied. The amount of the fee will be proportional to the type of waste, the additional quantity and delivery time.
The set fees arise regardless of the size of the ship in order to be easily understood by the users.
For the ships that sail to the Port Facility of the Company in Lavrion, the following price list / direct fees that must be paid for the receipt of liquid waste oil and liquid fuel waste (EWC: 13 01, 13 02, 13 03). Means of transport are defined by the contractor and pumping means by the serviced ship. The waste will be collected by the producer in an area suitably configured for the specific purpose (eg 180 kg barrels or tanks). Direct fees arise in case of same-arrival delivery that is not covered by the indirect fees.
According to the contract between the management of the port facility and the contractor, the minimum possible quantity of liquid waste delivery is 1m3.
In addition, it is agreed that the moisture content of the delivered waste cannot exceed 4%.
In case of exceeding the above percentage and the presence of free water, the following table of charges results:

For waste where the sum of moisture and free water is less than or equal to 20.00 %, the charges are zero.
In the case where the delivered waste presents a sum of moisture and free water ≥20.01 %, the following charges arise for its management:

Then, for the reception and disposal abroad of the hazardous waste that may be collected at the port facility, a separate billing system has emerged.

For liquid waste with EWC codes: 130401*, 130402*, 130403*, 130507*, the following direct fee billing system is established to which an annual fee equal to €1,500 is added for the contractor’s readiness.

For the delivered solid non-hazardous waste, following a private agreement, the contractor provides the management body of the port facility special open or closed containers or press containers for their temporary placement. Afterwards, the contractor undertakes the transport of the solid waste from the facilities for the purpose of recycling and depositing them in special licensed areas (landfill).
The contractor provides the facilities the following equipment:
