Due to a recent product development, it became possible to produce RAVATHERM Stonewool that is not only completely fire-resistant but also step-proof. Therefore, thanks to its high compressive-strength, a solar panel can also be placed directly on it, so the building is not only energy efficient, but due to the solar panels it is capable of producing green energy. In line with our sustainability efforts, we aim to reduce carbon emissions and increase energy efficiency through the continuous development of our products. The following reference is an industrial hall of a solar panel manufacturing company.

Sonepar Hungary Ltd. has grown into a nationwide electrical trading network and is now among Hungary’s market-leading electrical wholesalers. The company’s new headquarters has been established in Dunaharaszti, where the logistics warehouse was constructed. The energy efficiency of the building is ensured not only by a 500-kW solar panel system installed on its 8,000 m² roof but also by the RAVATHERM SW stone wool insulation integrated into the roof structure.
The new logistics center features an 8,000 m² warehouse, including an 800 m² fully automated storage area. The roof insulation required high-compressive-strength, load bearing, and fully fire-resistant materials, aligning with the solar panel system’s performance demands.

As the company actively promotes green energy through its innovative solar panel solutions, it is particularly gratifying that the warehouse’s solar panel system is complemented by high-strength RAVATHERM SW stone wool insulation, complete with slope elements, enhancing the overall energy efficiency and sustainability of the facility.
