He trained as an engineer and has been involved in technical sales for his whole career.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"mentions-texteditor__content\">What have been the main technical improvements since you joined the company?<\/h4>\n<p class=\"mentions-texteditor__content\">In roofing, it is our new technology and product development to meet the Part L + environmental changes in the construction market. When I started, we only looked at 0.25 U values, and we are now looking at projects at 0.10 on a roof! The company has always been committed to developing products with the correct certification. Being able to support the market with in-depth knowledge is vital. It is important to me that I can add value when looking at projects, and see them through from start to finish. Being involved in the Olympics was one of my biggest achievements. I worked on this from the very start of construction until the Games opened. I also enjoy some great business relationships. There are some fantastic<span class=\"mentions-texteditor__highlight--error\">&nbsp;characters throughout the roofing industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"mentions-texteditor__content\"><span class=\"mentions-texteditor__highlight--error\">What are your main interests outside work?<\/span><\/h4>\n<p class=\"mentions-texteditor__content\"><span class=\"mentions-texteditor__highlight--error\">My hobbies include cycling and long dachshund walks with the family.
